We all apply blush after makeup to give ourselves a pretty cute look. But do you know a blush can flatter your skin if you use it correctly? Yes, there is a different method for different face shapes to apply blush.

In this article, I will take you through the process or the methods of applying blush on your face according to your face shape. So, let’s start. Here I am discussing the main 4 types of face shapes, round, oval, square, and heart.

Round shape:

If you have a round-shaped face, your cheeks will be the fullest part of your face, and probably you have a curved jawline. For you, the method of applying blush will be to take a cream blush and apply 2 small strokes in the apples of your cheeks while smiling. Then using a medium-size foundation brush, gently blend it towards your temple and the ears. Don’t blend it towards your nose, as it will make your face more circular.

Oval shape:

If you have an oval-shaped face, then your jawline and forehead are narrow, and the cheeks are full. So, it looks stunning in your face shape. The method of applying blush will be to take a small amount of powdered blush in a brush, apply to your cheekbones and blend it towards your temple and ears. Try to use a little bit just above your temple before applying tap the meeting to remove the excess blush.

Square shape:

If you have a square shape, your jawline must be flat. For you, the method will be to take cream blush and apply a small amount of it to your cheekbones. Blend it with a synthetic brush along your cheekbones, then blend from under your eyebrows to your nose. This method can also be suitable for rectangular face shapes and oblong face shapes.

Heart shape:

A heart-shaped face has full cheeks with a narrow jawline. For you, the perfect way to apply blush will be to take a small amount of blush in a brush and use it from your temple to your cheekbones in a C shape. But remember not to apply too much blush.
